I was the lead designer for an easy-to-use multi-lingual e-commerce website for a luxury bath manufacturer

This involved wireframing and prototyping to ensure the site worked well across multiple languages, allowing them to successfully sell their products online for the first time.

THE PROJECT

Until now the client had sold exclusively through partner showrooms and any online sales journey had to match that curated in-store experience. It needed to work in 5 languages across five core global regions.

It also had to broaden their customer base to include a B2C audience without alienating their existing B2B clients, such as architects and interior designers.

The site used Umbraco Commerce to deliver a streamlined and smooth e-commerce user journey that didn’t feel bolted-on. Customers can select from a range of options online, just as they would in-showroom.

Extensive wireframes for the site were created and tested with multiple languages to ensure flexibility.

Customers could preview 200+ bath colour finishes using an easy-to-use interactive tool before purchasing.

Visually the site leaned heavily into their professionally photography , paired with sans-serif typefaces and a minimal colour palette to keep the focus on this imagery.
