I was the lead designer on an extensive email campaign for an award-winning hair care and beauty brand, creating more than 50 eye-catching templates as part of a wider rebrand

The client’s existing email template design and build was showing its age and didn’t reflect the quality of their products, resulting in low conversion rates. A rebrand was the perfect opportunity to get a fresh start.

THE PROJECT

After taking delivery of the new branding, we rolled this out across a large range of new email templates. Each was built up of a series of reusable components that formed the new email design system, allowing the client the flexibility to build their own templates in future.

Design work was supported by eye-catching professional photography, high-contrast calls-to-action and a clear visual flow. Accessibility and flexibility were key considerations too, ensuring that emails could adapt to smaller screen sizes and weren’t overly reliant on non-web-safe fonts or large data-sapping imagery. 

This was backed by a full audit of their CRM system by our Insights team.

The result? The creation of new email automations and triggers that ensured any new emails were being sent at the perfect point in the user’s purchasing journey.
